How Gael works

How we work

Process Driven

Gael is a process driven organisation. Throughout the business we benefit from having defined processes that allows baseline performances to be set and monitored. These metrics provide the intelligence to instigate improvement initiatives as we see fit across the business.

When introducing new products or services we work to a proprietary Product Lifecycle that allows us to bring order and control to the development process. Our Product Lifecycle has evolved through the knowledge and experience gained through developing robust solutions over the last 20 years.

The Product Lifecycle extends beyond the development process to manage each and every stage of new market entry, from concept to deployment. Research, Innovation, Prototyping, Design, Development, Test, Production, Operations, Support, Helpdesk, Professional Services, Training, Product Marketing, Tactical Marketing, Sales and Aftercare all benefit from the disciplines, controls and feedback the Lifecycle brings to the development process.

All Commercial activity within Gael is process driven, with multi-discipline teams in every division working with similar models to best understand and address the needs of our target audiences.

Defined processes manage all activities in the Operations, Professional Services and Aftercare functions of the business; ensuring all staff are capable, trained and experienced in helping customers get value from their investment in our solutions, products and services.

Positively Critical

Our background in reliability engineering has driven our need to continuously improve what we do and how we do it. This is done by addressing any weaknesses or issues in the business with positive actions to eliminate repeat occurrences.

This culture is ingrained within Gael - we adopt a positive attitude to change and use it to drive our business forward by doing 'the right things, right' and in improve the value and benefits we bring to our customers.

At Gael we thrive on the challenge of being competitive in our marketplace through introducing best practice to both our own and our customers’ working methods, leveraging technology to benefit how organisations operate.

Equally, we recognise that the lag between technologies being available in the marketplace and the workplace is one of our biggest challenges as product development must be aligned to the capabilities and platforms available to our customers.

Meeting Responsibilities

At Gael we take our responsibilities to customers, staff and society seriously and continually look to improve upon the:

  • value our products and services bring to clients.
  • enjoyment and the security staff get from working at Gael.
  • ways we can support people and organisations who face challenging times.
