When developing this 5th generation of Q-Pulse, our objectives for managing actions across the Compliance Management system were to provide a mechanism which offered:

A central source to manage and continually monitor actions throughout the organisation. A way to remind individuals and management of outstanding actions. The means to escalate actions not being addressed to appropriate management. The ability to report all actions completed across the management system during the previous week, month, quarter etc. The capacity to escalate an excessive number of related problems to management for investigation. Only relevant information available to each individual to encourage engagement with, and contribution to, the Compliance Management system. |
The Q-Pulse Workload user interface is clear, intuitive and easy to use. It interacts with all modules and offers one window which highlights changes to, and actions from, the management system and allows a quick view of all actions outstanding and overdue.
Personalised actions specific to an individual are available from the Workload module, allowing direct access to the appropriate record or action.
The messaging system integrates with your standard desktop e-mail system to deliver notification and reminders of pending actions and incorporates workflows that can be configured to escalate actions to management. The additional workflows can be used to report excessive incidents of similar problems to management for further review.
The Q-Pulse Workload module also provides reports to indicate what actions have been completed by individuals, teams, departments and across the whole organisation during the previous week, month, quarter etc.
We are delighted with the Q-Pulse Workload module and the results it delivers and see it making a terrific contribution to the quest of getting staff to engage with the compliance system and foster ownership of it. It offers significant timesaving for individuals and management alike whilst reducing the bureaucracy associated with the management system.
