Villa Air, based in the Maldives, required an integrated safety and quality management system to help meet strict compliancy standards for both the airline itself and their operating base in Villa Airport Maamgili.

As a new start-up airline based in the Maldives, Villa Air had initially planned to use manual methods such as spread sheets and paper based reports for managing safety and quality. However, as the new system was also required to manage processes for both the airline and airport separately – but be able to analyse data gained from both as one – they realised that an electronic management system would provide extensive business gains.

Villa Air implemented Q-Pulse, developed by Gael Ltd, after realising that the solution would provide them with a centralised database to jointly manage the airline and airport’s safety and quality processes. By implementing Q-Pulse early in the company’s history, it also meant that the solution would encourage best practice from day one.

This will help us identify and drive increased safety and quality improvement.”
