Formed in 2001, the Flexible Manufacturing Group Ltd (FMG) consists of a trio of companies brought together to acquire and develop leading sub-contract businesses, delivering a total engineering solution to a wide range of industries.
Comprising Livingston Precision (Engineering) Limited, Deans Engineering (Livingston) Ltd and Flexible Surface Technology Ltd, FMG planned to roll out a single and electronic Quality Management System (QMS) across all three companies, providing them with a central database for all their documentation and other quality processes.
Q-Pulse, the compliance management software solution developed by Gael Ltd, was chosen as the efficient solution to help FMG streamline their business processes.

“We already had Q-Pulse installed at one site but to benefit the business we recognised that the system had to be rolled out across all three companies. Q-Pulse will help bring together all of our processes and allow us all to work from the one centralised database, improving both visibility and traceability.”
FMG’s Q-Pulse implementation saw the solution installed at Livingston Precision before being shared across sister companies Deans and two Flexible Technology sites. This gave the company the central system they required, providing them with a holistic view of the entire QMS for all three companies.
