The latest version of the business mapping tool, MindGenius, which is shipped with Q-Pulse V5, has just been released. MindGenius V2.5 contains updated resources and introduces a new Questioning Dialogue to assist users in fully exploring and investigating the topic they are working on. Company Director Donald Maciver comments: ‘We have spoken with many MindGenius users and discovered that the ones enjoying most success have a common trait – a questioning mindset. As they explore a subject they ask themselves and others questions to really understand what is required of them to achieve outstanding results. ‘Looking at it closer we ultimately identified a process that lets you quickly research, understand, structure and act in a manner that reduces your risk of failure and increases your chances of success. It is a hugely powerful technique and yet so simple. ‘We have conveniently called this the MindGenius Approach. ‘With this in mind we felt all users would benefit from questions associated with the topic they are exploring, and introduced the questioning dialogue. We will gauge user feedback and develop this area further as they see fit.’ In addition, MindGenius acknowledges that not everyone finds mapping intuitive, therefore have included within the product and on their website a short video to help users get to grips with the basics of the technique and to understand the MindGenius approach. Importantly and uniquely, the MindGenius 2.5 update is free to those customers who already use MindGenius V2 and received MindGenius V2 licences with their Q-Pulse installation.
