The release of the new web interface for the Q-Pulse Version 5 Document module looks set to extend the power of compliance management by facilitating greater ownership and interaction. As a web-based solution, it can be easily deployed both internally within the organisation and externally throughout the supply chain, all without the need for any local software installation. It provides a common access point to all policies and procedures in a secure and structured manner, thereby radically reducing the risk of document-related process errors. Furthermore, use of the Q-Pulse Document web client will lead to a dramatic decrease in the cycle times associated with your document processes, as approvals and acknowledgements are now all performed via a single, central web-based application. Ownership is the key to unlocking the true potential of compliance management and it is for this reason that the Document web client can be branded with company logos. In doing so, staff will quickly be able to relate to the application and embrace it as their new document control portal. Ownership is further enhanced by the application’s ability to integrate with existing network passwords meaning that there is no need to sign into the application, thereby significantly increasing its ease of access. Gael’s Products Director Paul Callaghan said: “The Q-Pulse Document web client is an extremely powerful tool that allows for instant access to your existing documents contained in Version 5 with no need additional setup or configuration. Its ease of use means employees are more likely to interface with your documents and therefore accurately shape the structure and direction of your business processes.” The Document web client will be released at the end of April and will be available to all Q-Pulse Version 5 users covered by a current support contract. As was the case with the initial Version 5 release, it will be distributed in a controlled manner so contact us at info@gaelquality.com if you wish to consider its introduction into your own organisation.
