Gael Ltd is delighted to announce the launch of Q-Pulse specifically for ICAO SMS at the 2007 International Air Safety Seminar, held this year from October 1st to 4th in Seoul, Korea. The latest version of Q-Pulse will enable aviation organisations to reach new heights in safety and quality management, as well as demonstrate ICAO SMS compliance. From reporting aviation occurrences to analysing safety and quality data, Q-Pulse can help aviation organisations to comply with the ICAO SMS requirements, as well as standards and regulations such as JAR-OPS, EASA Part 145, JAR-FCL and IOSA. Importantly, it enables organisations to identify opportunities to continually improve safety and quality throughout the organisation, demonstrating their commitment to continuous improvement. By January 2009, airlines must establish a corporate SMS that complies with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs). Q-Pulse will enable organisations to adopt a holistic approach to SMS management by encompassing the four key components of corporate SMS; safety policy and objectives, safety risk management, safety assurance and safety promotion. "Based on the same PLAN-DO-CHECK-ACT principles as its predecessors, Q-Pulse is now even more powerful and easier to use," states Martin Bowman, Gael Ltd’s Sales Director. "With radically enhanced functionality, Q-Pulse can help organisations to maintain and improve quality and safety management systems in one system, in order to ensure both the safety of passengers and crew and the airworthiness and air safety of their aircraft." As Safety Audit Manager at Emirates, Malcolm Harbron comments, "Q-Pulse Version 5 is probably the closest to a one-stop solution that any supplier has achieved, and adds true value to an already open and flexible system. It's a sound solution for those wanting to streamline existing systems, as well as an ideal off-the-shelf starter pack for any new airline." Since its development in 1993, Q-Pulse has become the leading compliance management solution for the aviation industry, with more than 150 aviation organisations worldwide using Q-Pulse to streamline safety and quality management systems, including Emirates, Zoom and TUIfly. By managing compliance with Q-Pulse, aviation organisations can identify opportunities to improve quality and safety systems, including audit management, occurrence reporting, corrective and preventive action management and data analysis.
